On Sunday, August 23, 2026, as part of the CFU Challenge 2026 U-14 Boys organized by the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), our young Grenadiers, playing at Los Establos in Cap Cana (Punta Cana), Dominican Republic, humiliated the Reggae Boyz, the Jamaican national team, in the final [4-0] of the CFU Challenge grand final. For the third time, after 2021 and 2022, Haiti won the title and was crowned champion of this competition.

Haiti's Starting XI

Coach Jean Marc Alexandre announced his starting eleven to face Jamaica in the final. The only change was Wood-James Bernard EFAT (Haiti) replacing Jerry Petit-Homme of FC Toro (Haiti).

Summary : After creating several chances, Haiti finally opened the scoring in the 28th minute. Ronelson Pelé Janvier passed the ball to Jodeley Delmas, who calmly placed his shot into the bottom left corner, giving Haiti the lead just before halftime [1-0].

After the break, the Grenadiers continued to dominate the Reggae Boyz. Wensley Dumorne, just outside the penalty area, doubled the score [2-0] in the 32nd minute.

Brown, the Dominican goalkeeper, made another crucial save in the 46th minute, denying Marvens Fenelon, but Haiti extended their lead moments later. Eddyson Paul-Jean set up Wensley Dumorne, who beat two defenders before slotting home his second goal [3-0].

Janvier then capped off Haiti's impressive performance in the 58th minute after beating a defender and calmly sliding the ball into the back of the net to make it [4-0].

At the final whistle, Haiti celebrated their victory in style, officially being crowned champions of the CFU Boys’ Under-14 Challenge Series Tier I 2026 after a resounding victory over Jamaica.

Jodley Sheeckensley Delmas finished as the tournament's top scorer, while Wensley Dumorne was named MVP.
